David Nolan. Prince “James” Charming. Works at animal shelter. FC: Josh Dallas. OPEN.
David Nolan, former John-Doe of Storybrooke. Known in town for having a forbidden romance with Mary Margaret Blanchard while being married to Kathryn Nolan. However, it appears that his intentions were honorable after all when he realizes that his memories with Kathryn were implanted by the Evil Queen and Mary Margaret was his true love all along. He has recently remembered his life in another world where he was none other than Prince Charming himself. He’s reunited with his wife, Snow White, who has also remembered who she truly is. They live together in a freshly purchased home with their daughter, twenty-eight year old Emma Swan, and her young son. And yes, he’s still just as charming.
Alexander “Diz” Newman, The Sandman, Sleep Therapist, FC: Ben Whishaw, OPEN.
People in town have been getting restless as of late: nightmares, insomnia, waking up in terrors of things not real. It’s a wonder anybody has been able to get a good night’s rest. That’s where Dr. Newman comes in. As a sleep therapist, he has certain… techniques to guarantee you will sleep the entire night away. And if not, there’s always some prescription drug that works just the same. Having his own private practice has done pretty well for him, although the rumours still spread “he’s selling narcotics” “Gold has him in his pocket.” Diz isn’t as honorable as Archie when it comes to his Hippocratic oath. He understands that sometimes the survival of himself is more important to him than the privacy of his patients. He’s not a bad person, honestly. He seems to do just well for himself around town.
In the Fairy tale world, Alexander Newman was the one who put people to sleep with just a dash of dust. Yes, the one and only Sandman, at your service. The Sandman was a fairy-like creature who ghosted along the shadows, sprinkling his bag of sand dust over them and knocking them out for as long as required as to enter their minds. His job was to maintain harmony inside people’s dreams, making sure their inner demons were unable to prevail. But, with the curse and evil doers at every turn, will the Sandman be able to survive his biggest nightmare?
Dr. Archie Hopper. Jiminy Cricket. Psychiatrist. FC: Raphael Sbarge, OPEN.
Archie Hopper is the town’s therapist. His job is to assess their problems, and actions and help them in the best way he can. At least he tries to. Unfortunately, he isn’t that strong of will, and more often than not ends up doing whatever the Mayor tells him to. That is until a stranger entered the town and decided to shake things up, forcing the mild-mannered therapist to stand up for what he believed in, the townsfolk.
Now Archie is a helper of Henry and Emma, despite the Mayor’s influence over the town and himself, and hopes to one day try and make up for the things he’d done in her honor.
In the land of fairytales, Archie was known as Jiminy Cricket, Pinnochio’s conscience. After a run-in with a potion that turned him into a cricket, he helped Gepetto and Pinocchio in their work, hoping to make up for his shortcomings as a man.
Daniel Harcroft. Sir Edward, Marian’s father. Town council member. FC: Jeffrey Dean Morgan. OPEN.
One of the members of Storybrooke’s council, Daniel is a well liked member of the local community. He’s always willing to listen to any problems that anyone in town has, and makes sure to voice them at the town council meetings, fighting to better their little town in any way he can. Years ago, he lost his beloved wife the night his daughter Maria was born, which hit him extremely hard, but instead of allowing himself to wallow in grief, he devoted himself to giving his little girl the best life he could. Granted, he probably had expectations of her that did not fit onto the route Maria saw her life taking, but nobody has ever doubted he loves his daughter more then anything. Though he highly disapproved of her choice of boyfriend, and tried to do anything he could to deter Maria from pursuing the Hawthorne boy in her teenage years, Daniel quickly found that she had a stubborn streak a mile wide and she wasn’t going to give up on Rob. However, it’s only recently after dreams of a conversation with his daughter where she implored him to see just how much her other half meant to her that he’s accepted Rob is going to be a part of Maria’s life, and finally gave his blessing to the pair. At the end of the day, he only ever wants his daughter to be happy, and if Rob does that, then that’s fine by him.
In the fairytale world, Daniel was Sir Edward, cousin to King Richard, father to Marian and one of the most well-liked nobles in Nottingham. Even under the Sheriff’s stranglehold on the county, he did his best to feed those suffering the most under the harsh taxes and to keep spirits up in the county. After Robin left for war, he constantly worried about his daughter, who withdrew into herself more and more the longer the Sheriff was in power, becoming a shadow of her usual fiery self. It was only when Robin came back and turned outlaw that the spark that seemed long extinguished reignited in Marian, and he fully supported her decision to take to Sherwood, realizing that this was where she needed to be, after so long of being choked by the confines of the Sheriff’s court. Though they both knew Marian’s new position as an outlaw would place him in great danger, the only reason he was never arrested by the Sheriff for the gang’s “crimes” was the popularity he had among the people of Nottingham. If he’d been taken into custody, there potentially would have been an uprising against him from those the Sheriff had already wronged, and those Edward had helped over the years. Providing a rallying point for an army was not something the Sheriff was willing to do, and so Edward was left alone, allowing him to help supply his daughter and Robin’s gang as best as he could.
Andrew Allan. Allan A Dale. Entertainer. FC: Ryan Kwanten. OPEN
Another pretty good friend of Rob’s, though Andrew doesn’t work at the garage, he spends pretty much the entirety of his spare time there anyway. Though he knows absolutely zilch about cars, he declared himself their friendship groups ‘Entertainment Master’ after one boozy night at the Rabbit Hole and the title has well and truly stuck. He’s got a knack for music, and a talent for making up songs on the spot, “the bawdier the better”. Outside of bro-times with the boys, he’s an entertainer. If you need someone for a party, Andrew’s your man. More often than not, you can find him in the park too, playing his guitar to a rapt audience of Storybrooke’s children.
In the fairytale world, Andrew was another one of Robin’s outlaws, the bard Allan A Dale. Having managed to get himself into quite a bit of trouble with the Sheriff, he was rescued from execution by the gang, and ended up joining them in Sherwood.
Mr. Gold. Rumpelstiltskin. Pawn shop owner. FC: Robert Carlyle. OPEN.
Always true to his word. Owns pretty much everything on Storybrooke. Cares for nothing but himself, only takes a side that will benefit him somehow. Has made a deal with everyone, and practically all town owns him a favor. Of course, in fairytale land is the mischievious Rumpelstiltskin.
August W. Booth. Pinocchio. Writer, Works at the Marina Garage Part Time. FC: Eion Bailey.OPEN.
What do we know about the very handsome visitor walking around Storybrooke who crashed a super cool bike? He’s an old fashioned writer, here for reasons still unknown to the majority of the townsfolk. He carries around a box with a typewriter in it. He helped his now best friend, Emma Swan, to believe in the curse and weaken it. Now that people are starting to remember, August has secured a job with his father Marco, seemingly waiting for him to remember too. He’s known for having a quite public love affair with Ruby Lucas that dissolved badly, although both parties are currently on good terms.
Graham Humbert. The Huntsman. Sheriff (on medical leave from duty). FC: Jamie Dornan. OPEN.
Graham was the town’s sheriff for as long as anyone could remember. He handled the small spats that appeared here or there, and was generally liked by everyone, except for the newcomer, Emma, who always seemed to enjoy finding ways to defy him. He enjoyed it, in a way, and ended up making her his deputy, as another way to get at the Mayor, to show her that she didn’t have complete control over him.
It wasn’t to be, though, for after kissing Emma, and having all of his memories brought back to him, Regina had his heart explode in his chest. Something must have gone wrong with her magic, though, for Graham simply had a heart attack, and didn’t die. Laid up in the hospital, and too weak to work, he’s letting Emma take control of being Sheriff, for the time being. At least until he’s better and can stand on two feet without getting winded.
In the Land of Old, Graham was known simply as the Hunstman, tasked by the Evil Queen to bring her Snow White’s heart. Caring for the young woman that seemed to have brought on the queen’s wrath, he instead helped her escape, and chose to continue to find ways to get back at the Queen for her evil ways.
Henry Mills. Snow and Charming’s grandson. Student. FC: Jared Gilmore. OPEN.
First one to know about the curse. Regina’s adoptive son, but Emma’s birth one. He’s determined to break the curse and stop his Regina’s plans to prevent it from happening. He’s trying to help those who still haven’t remembered who they truly are and is the leader of Operation Cobra. Since his grandparents remembered, he now lives happily with them and his birth mother, Emma. That’s not to say he doesn’t feel conflict over his adoptive mother though, and wishes for her to find redemption.
Cary Boome, Jetsam, Maintanence and Cleaning for the boats on the docks FC: Jensen Ackles.OPEN.
There are many words to describe Cary Boome, and most of them aren’t good.Cary’s work at keeping the boats around the lake in working conditions is shoddy at best (he prefers taking a dip in the lake than actually caring for it). But, he has pretty good connections with the powers that be, so no one really says anything. The more care-freeloader of the two, his brother Daniel tries to steer him in the right direction. The problem is neither path is built on good intentions. When he’s not causing trouble worthy of Rob’s nature, he’s out drinking the town away, along with his sorrows. Exactly what is Carey Boome hiding from us?
Back when he actually was a sea creature,Cary was Jetsam, the brains behind the operations. Ambitious, cunning, and spiteful, Flotsam always found a way to keep himself amused at other fish’s expenses. His favorite dish is tricking merfolk into pitying them, while Flotsam would knock them out, giving Ursula to weave her spell. His chemistry with his counter part is quite… shocking, if you allow the term.
